What comes to your mind when you hear “Belgium waffles”? At the Risner house it’s just pure goodness.  We have created many memories around the table with Belgium waffles.  Many years ago while Dave was still in school, we lived near a wonderful restaurant that served Sunday brunch.  We would go there for special occasions and always ordered their Belgium waffles layered with cream cheese, strawberries, blueberries and whipped cream.   When we moved we began making them at home.  Every holiday, every large gathering, every brunch includes Belgium waffles; they are a Risner family favorite.

In sociology, manners are standards of conduct that identify a person to be cultured, polite, and refined. They are like laws that set a standard for behavior, but there is no punishment if you break them other than social disapproval.   Wikipedia says manners are "highly susceptible to change with time, geographical location, social stratum, occasion, and other factors.”  Specifically, I would like to discuss table manners, the etiquette used while eating.

So many reports, so little time.  I believe that investing a little time in a weekly plan will actually save time in the end.  In fact, I believe that the time I spend on Sunday afternoon or evening planning my week’s worth of meals saves me time in many ways throughout my week.
