 Each week before heading to the grocery store, organize your refrigerator to make room for the new groceries.  Purge items that have expired but freeze leftovers; they can be used for meals, lunches, or snacks and don't need to be thrown away.  After the holidays we tend to throw out food that can be frozen, so use your food dollars wisely and freeze those leftovers!
