Potato Tip

When making stew - how you cut your potatoes is important!  Some potatoes should be sliced and others should be quartered.  Sliced potatoes break down and thicken stews and soups without needing extra flour or thickening.  Quartering or halving potatoes cook just to tender and stay hearty chunks.
