White Hot Chocolate

  • 2/3 cup baking pieces white
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 cup skim milk


    1. In a medium saucepan combine 1/4 cup of the half and half, the baking pieces, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir over low heat until baking pieces are melted. Add remaining half and half and milk. Cook and stir until heated through. Remove from heat.
    2. Stir in vanilla and almond extract. If desired, sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
