Spinach Salad

  • 1 pound spinach
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 slice bacon
  • 2 count eggs
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 1 small onion red
  • 1/4 pound mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup vinegar cider
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


    1. To prepare dressing: combine all dressing ingredients beginning with sugar in a jar with a tight fitting lid. Shake vigorously to blend well. (yields 2 cups dressing)
    2. To prepare salad: wash spinach well; tear into bite size pieces.
    3. Combine with all remaining salad ingredients in a serving bowl. Pour sweet and sour dressing over salad; toss to coat.
