California French Dressing

NOTE: If dressing separates


  • 1 small onion
  • 1 teaspoon mustard dry
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup soup condensed tomato
  • 1/2 cup vinegar


    1. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, sugar, soup, vinegar, salt and dry mustard; beat with a whisk until mixture thickens.
    2. Add onion and garlic to mixture; stir to blend. Refrigerate dressing in a covered jar for at least 12 hours. Remove garlic pieces before serving.
    3. Yield: 2 cups salad dressing.
