Chicken and Noodles

Great crock recipe! You can even buy a rotisserie chicken at the grocery store and speed up the cook time.


  • 4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 count chicken whole
  • 2 stalk celery
  • 1 package egg noodles frozen 16 oz


    1. Rinse chicken and place in crock pot. Add celery and onion, no need to dice or slice, in the pot with the chicken and add about 1 cup of water.
    2. Cook on high for about 4 hours or until chicken falls off the bone or you can cook on a lower heat for 8-10 hours. Remove chicken and vegetables from broth. Remove the meat from the bones and discard celery and onion.
    3. Boil noodles in 4 cups of chicken broth and then add chicken to noodles.
