Ramen Noodle Slaw

  • 3/8 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup vinegar rice
  • 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 3/8 cup oil
  • 3/8 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 4 ounce slivered almonds
  • 1 large cabbage
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 package Ramen noodles


    1. Combine dressing ingredients in small jar and shake well. (soy sauce, oil, sesame oil, rice vinegar, sugar) Place in fridge until ready to use.
    2. Place butter in heavy skillet and melt. Crumble in the ramen noodles, seeds, and nuts. Brown lightly and set aside on paper towel.
    3. Shred cabbage and add to large bowl. Just before serving, shake dressing and pour over cabbage, toss and add the noodle mixture. Serve immediately.
