Caesar Salad

  • 2 count garlic cloves
  • 1 count egg
  • 1 count lettuce Romaine
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup bread cubes French
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon mustard dry
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 4 count anchovy fillets


    1. Crush 1 clove of garlic, add to oil and lemon juice in small jar.
    2. Heat 2 tbs. butter in a skillet and add 1 clove crushed garlic and 1 cup French bread cubes. Saute and set aside.
    3. Add salt/pepper and dry mustard and anchovies to jar of oil and refrigerate.
    4. Bring water to boil and coddle egg, drain and set aside.
    5. Cut ribs from romaine and tear in bite size pieces. Place in chilled bowl.
    6. Break egg over salad and pour lemon juice directly over egg.
    7. Shake dressing well and pour over romaine. Toss well.
    8. Put croutons on top and toss again. Serve immediately.
