Strawberry Cake

  • 1 cup strawberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 package white cake mix
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 small Jell-O strawberry
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 cup sugar powdered
  • 4 ounce cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter


    1. Combine cake mix, flour, jello, oil, and eggs one at a time; beating well. Chop or puree strawberries and gently fold 1/2 c. into batter (reserve the other half for the icing).
    2. Grease and flour to 8 or 9 inch layer pans and divide batter equally. Bake in 325 degree oven for 25-30 minutes or until done.
    3. Icing: Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, butter and the other 1/2 c. strawberries.
